In the early 70’s, while working with chefs of Eastern European descent, Michael Gross noticed that they used a seasoning blend to season beef roasts, chicken, steaks, fish, and potatoes. It gave everything an alluring aroma, while cooking, and an unbelievable flavor. One of the chefs, a holocaust survivor, had his life spared in order to cook for the concentration camp ranking officers. He taught Michael his version of the seasoning blend, which is what we use and sell today.
